A Carefully Designed Environment
Our infant program is thoughtfully designed to provide a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure, and free to explore. Classrooms are filled with natural materials, soft spaces for movement, and carefully selected sensory experiences that encourage discovery through touch, sound, and sight.
Genuine Relationships
Teachers build strong, responsive relationships with each child in our infant care program, observing their developmental cues and gently guiding them as they reach new milestones.
A Focus on Your Little One
Whether an infant is practicing tummy time, exploring a sensory basket, listening to songs, or engaging in one-on-one interactions with a caregiver, every experience is intentional and centered on fostering curiosity, confidence, and connection.

Infant Daycare Essentials & Activities
Our infant program is filled with enriching experiences designed to support early development while encouraging exploration, connection, and joy. Whether your child attends for full days or part time, we ensure their time is filled with an enriching experience.
Every activity is thoughtfully adapted to each child's developmental stage, ensuring a nurturing environment where infants can explore the world around them at their own pace.
A Blended-Philosophy Approach
We designed our infant program using a blend of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf philosophies. We have found that each framework has unique qualities that contribute to healthy and holistic development in even very young children.
-
Montessori: A focus on building early life skills in a carefully prepared environment and a focus on child-directed choice.
-
Reggio Emilia: An emphasis on communication and visual expression guided by the child’s curiosity and interests.
-
Waldorf: Nurturing a child’s emotional growth in a warm, homelike environment. Daily rhythms provide structure while allowing for imagination and play.
Tummy Time
Supervised tummy time with individualized floor play is a daily routine, promoting curiosity and independent discovery. All play occurs in the presence of caregivers with safety measures in mind.
Sensory Exploration
Introductory sensory exploration with natural materials and age-appropriate textures is a core element of our program. Infant-initiated exploration not only promotes the practice of fine motor skills but also builds engagement with the world around them.
Communication Activities
Storytime and rich language interactions, including baby sign language and early communication activities, build a foundation for interpersonal confidence.

Infant Daycare FAQs
We welcome young learners from 8 weeks to 24 months old.
We document infant feedings so parents will always stay informed about their child's day. In our feeding records, we include information like:
-
When a bottle or meal was offered
-
How much was consumed
-
Other individualized information about the child's feeding routine
We change diapers at least every 2 to 3 hours (or more frequently when needed). Most infants will go through up to six diapers a day with full-time enrollment. We also document diaper changes to help parents stay aware of their child's digestive health and function.
We feed each child on demand according to their individual schedule and document every feeding in their daily care log. We ask families to provide labeled bottles or baby food, as appropriate for the child's dietary needs. We implement safety routines such as:
-
Re-offering bottles up to 1 hour before discarding contents
-
Washing used bottles
-
Maintaining allergy-aware practices
Our caregivers can also provide guidance on age-appropriate foods as your child transitions to finger foods.
While we provide many of the necessities for infants throughout the day, we do ask parents to provide some staples. Depending on the child's age and stage of development, we ask parents to bring:
-
Prepared and clearly labeled bottles (breast milk or formula)
-
Baby food (or other foods appropriate for their child's stage of development)
-
Diapers and wipes (can bring in bulk and store at our center)
-
Crib or cot linens for nap time
Our infant daycare blends comforting care with early-stage enrichment activities, including:
-
Tummy time
-
Individualized floor play
-
Sensory activities
-
Music & storytelling
-
Baby sign language
-
Early communication experiences
Your infant's safety and well-being are our top priorities every day. As such, we rigorously follow a set of safety protocols, including:
-
Locked entrances and exits
-
Strict drop-off and pick-up protocols
-
Full, continual supervision
-
Vetted staff (including background checks)
Families will receive daily updates during pick-up, with routine reports about progress throughout the year. Updates include information such as:
-
Important moments in the child's day
-
Feeding and care routines
-
Areas of growth and development
-
Areas of concern, if applicable
-
Shifting needs as the child develops
